It's my Party!

This is me. About a year ago. I was smaller - but not that small. And I was just as loud - I just didn't know how to put words to my thoughts. Alot has changed since then. Like my mom and dad's WHOLE life. But they say, having me is amazing and they are thankful for every day and every minute (even the bad ones).

Well, now I'm ONE and it's time to celebrate - what else? ... ME!!!

We had a big party and it was LOADS of fun. Here are some of the best parts....
All my friends were there. My friends from playgroup, my friends from family and even my friends from the neighborhood. Mommy said I have a lot of friends and that's probably gonna mean BIG cell phone bills. Whatever that means.

This is Ethan. I think he's cute. He really knows how to smile for the camera.

And this is Sophie. I love her.

This is Isabella and Madalyn. I think they're having fun, but they didn't really want to stop for a picture. They were busy.... Divas...

Oh yeah! We went in the bounce house. I LOVED it. I don't think the other babies liked it, but me, Sophie and Lia did. Oh well. More room for us to bounce!

We had yummy food.

I think Taylor was a little hungry...

and thirsty. She's cute.

I got some really cool presents like this puppy and my very first baby doll. I love her. Thanks everyone!

We had bubbles. And Isabella liked to blow them...right in Taylor's face.

But I think my favorite part was my cupcake! YUM!!! I ate the whole thing! I can't wait until I can have more of that.

I really had a lot of fun. Not just at my party but this past whole year. And I'm learning and growing every day. Check back soon for more news!

Love,
the Schmoo

I think I'm pretty cute!

So, after I have my cookies, Mommy and Daddy give me a bath right away. I get pretty messy. Today, before my bath was ready, I got to stand in front of this mirror.

There was this baby in there and I thought she was really cute! I just had to give her a kiss!

OK, lots of kisses...

Hey, I think that's me!

Well, I guess I think I'M cute.

Who is this guy anyways? I sort of like him with all of his soft fuzzy stuff. And he does seem kind of jolly. Mommy said that he brings us presents on Christmas morning.

But she said that that isn't what Christmas is all about. It's really about Jesus and the gift that He gave us by coming down from heaven to be born as a baby. He didn't have to do that. But He loved us so much that He wanted to take the punishment for all of the bad things that we do. WOW! I'm still little and I already do bad things. He must have taken a BIG punishment. Mommy said that He died so that we can live forever with Him in heaven. It sounds like a perfect place to be.

But I had fun celebrating His birthday. It was fun to get presents on someone else's birthday. I got some cool stuff. Like this really big house. It has a mailbox and a door. I love to play peek-a-boo with Mom and Dad in the window.

Then I saw some other toys peeking out of this "stocking". It was like the biggest sock I ever saw. I don't know who's it was, but I think that their foot must have been cold.

I got this little phone that you can pull around. The eyes go up and down and I think that's really silly.

And this mirror. I LOVE looking into it and giving myself kisses!

And this frog that makes a really fun sound. I just like to eat the bells though.

Mommy and Daddy said that this Christmas was the best one so far.

I think so too. Thanks for all my great stuff Santa. And thank you Jesus for giving us the best present ever on YOUR birthday.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Merry Christmas! I had such a fun time spending Christmas with all of my family. We have a lot of it, so it kept me pretty busy. It was like a whole week of parties!!!

First we went to Grandpa Curtis'. It was really pretty there and really cold. But they had a fire going, so it was nice and toasty inside.

Linda always makes the table look so pretty.

It was my first time opening a present and I liked it. Well, I really loved the paper and the tissue. But, I play with the farm that they bought me ALL the time.

Then we went over to Tia Laurie and Uncle Jack's on Christmas Eve. All the kids were there and a puppy too. I really liked the puppy.

Mommy kept talking about these things called "traditions". I didn't really understand what she was saying. But whatever... I had fun anyways.

Then we went to Grandma Jo's on Christmas morning. That was really fun. We had breakfast and I got this big boat with all kinds of animals. Two of every kind. I really love to eat my animals.

I think the lion is my favorite. I even started to say "Roar" when mommy asks what the lion says.

The last party we went to was at my Titi Sarah's house. We had a big dinner and the food was really yummy. I ate turkey for the first time and Grandpa Randy REALLY knows how to cook it. D-licious!

I go so many presents there and my Nana even made me a coat.

Whatever those "traditions" are that Mommy was talking about, I hope it means we get to do this every year!
