Who is this guy anyways? I sort of like him with all of his soft fuzzy stuff. And he does seem kind of jolly. Mommy said that he brings us presents on Christmas morning.
But she said that that isn't what Christmas is all about. It's really about Jesus and the gift that He gave us by coming down from heaven to be born as a baby. He didn't have to do that. But He loved us so much that He wanted to take the punishment for all of the bad things that we do. WOW! I'm still little and I already do bad things. He must have taken a BIG punishment. Mommy said that He died so that we can live forever with Him in heaven. It sounds like a perfect place to be.
But I had fun celebrating His birthday. It was fun to get presents on someone else's birthday. I got some cool stuff. Like this really big house. It has a mailbox and a door. I love to play peek-a-boo with Mom and Dad in the window. Then I saw some other toys peeking out of this "stocking". It was like the biggest sock I ever saw. I don't know who's it was, but I think that their foot must have been cold.
I got this little phone that you can pull around. The eyes go up and down and I think that's really silly.
And this mirror. I LOVE looking into it and giving myself kisses!
And this frog that makes a really fun sound. I just like to eat the bells though.
Mommy and Daddy said that this Christmas was the best one so far.
I think so too. Thanks for all my great stuff Santa. And thank you Jesus for giving us the best present ever on YOUR birthday.

Merry Christmas! I had such a fun time spending Christmas with all of my family. We have a lot of it, so it kept me pretty busy. It was like a whole week of parties!!!
First we went to Grandpa Curtis'. It was really pretty there and really cold. But they had a fire going, so it was nice and toasty inside.
Linda always makes the table look so pretty.
It was my first time opening a present and I liked it. Well, I really loved the paper and the tissue. But, I play with the farm that they bought me ALL the time.
Then we went over to Tia Laurie and Uncle Jack's on Christmas Eve. All the kids were there and a puppy too. I really liked the puppy.
Mommy kept talking about these things called "traditions". I didn't really understand what she was saying. But whatever... I had fun anyways.
Then we went to Grandma Jo's on Christmas morning. That was really fun. We had breakfast and I got this big boat with all kinds of animals. Two of every kind. I really love to eat my animals.
I think the lion is my favorite. I even started to say "Roar" when mommy asks what the lion says.
The last party we went to was at my Titi Sarah's house. We had a big dinner and the food was really yummy. I ate turkey for the first time and Grandpa Randy REALLY knows how to cook it. D-licious!
I go so many presents there and my Nana even made me a coat.
Whatever those "traditions" are that Mommy was talking about, I hope it means we get to do this every year!

So I had my first cookie... Mommy was smart enough to strip me down because I got REALLY messy.
I really loved it! It tasted so yummy and I loved holding it myself. It even felt really good on my gums because I am getting two more teeth.
I was really sad when it was all gone. Mommy said "all gone, no more"

I already LOVE Christmas! I think it's really funny when mommy says that Santa goes "HO-HO-HO!" and I love the lights that are making everything look so pretty. Our house looks so different and full of fun new things for me to touch and look at.

I had a great day today! Mommy and Daddy took me to this place called Balboa Park. I loved walking all around there. I was showing everyone my newest thing... I know how to wave now! I really love people and I LOVE making them smile. Even when they aren't looking at me, I'll yell so I can get there attention - then I smile at them. It always makes them smile back.
They had this really huge fountain there and I loved it. I saw kids sticking their feet in it and I really wanted to do that too. But Mommy said that I was too little. I can't wait to get big enough to stick my feet in.
I met a friend there too. Her name was Faith. She helped me smile for the camera and she let me wear her helmet. She was nice.
Then Mom and Dad took me to ride the Carousel. It had these little horses for kids like me.
But they didn't go up and down, so I wanted to ride on the BIG one. That was my favorite. It goes around and around and up and down. Weeeee! It's so much fun!
It was a great family day. I had so much fun. I wish Daddy never had to work so we could have fun together every day.
